Skeppshult Bicycle Sale

There are many things we love about Skeppshult like the fact they are still made in Sweden and their focus on comfort, design and quality. In Sweden when you mention the name Skeppshult many people will instantly think of the classic Natur model. But, one of the other things we really like about Skeppshult is the many different models they have other then the beautiful Natur.
Of course it's difficult for us to bring in the full range of Skeppshult models in all the colours available. For instance, we think the 3 wheeled S3 24 Comfort would make a lot of sense for people with balance issues but it's a very niche market. Likewise your dream bike might be the Nova Sport in Lime metallic. Me personally, I like the Lime colour and you may too but the chances of me meeting up with you are much much less then meeting a person who likes the classic Black colour.
So with that in mind we thought it would be fun to give you the opportunity to order your dream model in the colour you want. Life is about options, the more choices you have the more enriched your life can be. Of course making a decision can then be difficult. To reward your decision making process if you Pre Order your Skeppshult bicycle before the 16th August we will give you a 17% discount. To confirm your order we require a $300 deposit.
Following are a few suggestions you might be interested in

The Nova Comfort has been a popular bicycle, especially the 8 Speed Automatic version but Skeppshult felt that some people wanted a sportier bicycle but still benefit from the low instep of the Nova frame so they created the Nova Sport

The Soft is an amazingly comfortable bicycle. In 2004 it was awarded Bicycle of the Year in Sweden and it was the 2nd collaboration between designer Björn Dahlström and Skeppshult. It has Schwalbe's widest (60mm) Big Apple tyres which contributes significantly to the Soft ride you get. It has extremely clean lines and the top tube is one piece of tubing which is bent to its curvaceous shape. Using one piece is quite rare in bicycles.
This year Skeppshult celebrated their 10 year partnership of working with Björn by releasing the 3 models he designed in a special Midnight Blue colour.
For some people 3 wheels are better then 1.The S3 has the lowest instep of all the Skeppshult models making it very easy to get on and off. The large rear basket makes the trip to the shops a breeze. If you are still active but are worried about falling off, the S3 could be your perfect solution.
The STC comes in 4 versions. The STC Elite is designed for people who want to travel a little bit longer and a little bit faster then say the Nova Comfort.

The STC Pro won the 2006 Bicycle of The Year in Sweden. STC stands for Skeppshult Touring Cycle and the Pro is perfect for people who want to be really active on 2 wheels.
The handle bar design means you can adjust the D handles so you can sit up a bit without effecting the position of the bars for when you really want to put some effort in.
No dynamos, lights, mud guards, built in locks, chain guards or racks. The STC Steel is the sportiest bicycle Skeppshult has ever made and is new for 2010. Quick and smooth and the lightest bicycle in the Skeppshult range. It is one sleek Swede.

Pink V Bike and Vega 91.5fm at Balgownie Estate
12/05/2009 - If you were listening to Vega 91.5fm in Melbourne today you may have heard Mike Perso talking about the Pink V Bike auction for the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Vega visited Balgownie Estate which is a wonderful winery and spa resort in the Yarra Valley just outside of Melbourne as part of Mike Perso's workplace visits. If you would have seen Mike today you would have thought he had one of the best jobs in the world. Tucked in a corner of Rae's Restaurant Mike occasionally would speak into the microphone and the rest of the time he would sit and take in the view and think about which wine to try. He made it look easy and it was lots of fun.
